PD Systems Receives Sustainment Center of Excellence Task Order Award for providing Training Support Services for the Sustainment Warrior Field Training Exercise (SWFTX) at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, VA, June 29, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Task Order (TO) award notification from the from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Lee for providing Training Support Services for the Sustainment Warrior Field Training Exercise located at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia beginning on 28 July 2011.

PD Systems, Inc, in concert with teammate Cubic Applications Inc, will provide 54 training support personnel in the capacities of Operations Specialists, Opposing Force (OPFOR) Specialists, Lane Safety Observer/Controllers and Evaluators (O/C & E), Small Arms and Site Maintainers, Ammunition Specialists, Training Operations Specialists, Communications Specialists, and Range Safety Specialists. The SWFTX is a 96-hour event/scenario driven field exercise replicating the operational environment which is paramount training in preparing sustainment Soldiers and Leaders for their wartime missions. Approximately 20,000 Soldiers and Leaders per year will conduct FTX training missions replicating operational theatre missions that integrate their newly acquired technical skills with their tactical skills.
