Sterling Heights, MI. Second successful European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) missions, with the most recent ADR mission being recognized for excellence by the COR and LRC Director.

Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe has led the Department of Defense’s Atlantic Resolve land efforts by bringing units based in the U.S. to Europe for nine months at a time. There are approximately 6,000 Soldiers participating in Atlantic Resolve at any given time. Atlantic Resolve builds readiness, increases interoperability and enhances the bonds between ally and partner militaries with multinational training events in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.

ADR, formally known as the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, is a 1957 United Nations treaty that governs the transnational transport of hazardous materials. ADR is derived from the French name for the treaty: Accord europeen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route. The ADR program ensures US military vehicles have the proper markings and vehicle lighting for Europe.

SPRINGFIELD, VA. PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Firm Fixed Price order from the US Air Force to supply various versions of Secondary Distribution Centers (SDCs).

PD Systems has supplied hundreds of secondary distributions equipment to the United States Air Force and the US Army for over 10 years. While many of our products are standard configuration for each of the US Air Force and other different configuration for the US Army tailored to meet their specific needs, PD Systems also build numerous sizes and various power input and output configurations that meet the specific needs of our customers. A combination of military specification connecters and commercial off the shelf connectors are used in all our products.

Mr. Mazen Badr, Sr. Vice President and General Manager of PD Systems’ Power Solution Division will lead the production effort. He said, “The SDCs provide the US Air Force an increase in its power distribution support capabilities worldwide while maintaining a familiar interface for the operators.”
