PD Systems Announces PM IEDD/PF Contract to Provide Contractor Logistics Services

ALEXANDRIA, VA, November 30, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a contract award notification from the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Warren, Michigan to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for Product Manager Improvised Explosive Device Defeat/Protect Force (PM IEDD/PF) beginning on 17 October 2011. The award was given in July.

The PD Systems Team, comprised of Ideal Innovations, Inc.; ManTech International Corporation; STS International; and Systems Products & Solutions, Inc., will provide 130 positions offering a range of services to include: program management, logistics, administrative, and field service representative support. Team PDS will provide system integration/installation onto vehicle systems; studies/analyses, parts management, asset tracking, equipment repair and troubleshooting, training and maintenance support for the entire range of PM IEDD/PF equipment and anti-terrorism technology in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman and 40 other CONUS and OCONUS sites.

PD Systems Receives Order for Woodland Net Systems for the Biological Integrated Detection System Vehicles

PD Systems Receives TACOM LCMC Contract to Provide LIW/ILAP Support Services

PD Systems Receives Sustainment Center of Excellence Task Order Award for providing MOS 91F Instructors to the Ordnance School’s Conventional Weapons Division at Fort Lee, Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 27, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Task Order (TO) award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Lee for providing MOS 91F (Small Arms Towed Artillery Repairer) instructors to the Ordnance School’s Conventional Weapons Division at Fort Lee, Virginia beginning on 16 August 2011.

PD Systems in concert with our teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) will provide 21 instructors in support of this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as well as professional development training for Officer and Noncommissioned Officer students. The 91F Instructors will train Soldiers on two-level maintenance of small arms weapons to include shoulder fired weapons, handguns, machine guns, mortars, and towed artillery weapons. Additionally, instruction will include procedures to inspect, disassemble, clean, operate, function-test, lubricate, measure and repair small arms/artillery equipment.

ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 22, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Task Order (TO) award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Lee for providing MOS 91B/91H/91P ASI H8 instructors to the Ordnance School’s Recovery Division at Fort Lee, Virginia beginning on 16 August 2011.

PD Systems will provide six instructors in support of this TO. The PD Systems instructors will provide platform and hands-on training of all required lessons in the Recovery Certification Course (ASIH8). PD Systems will simultaneously support resident training and Mobile Training Teams (MTT) with a demanding travel schedule.

PD Systems Receives Sustainment Center of Excellence Task Order Award for providing MOS 91H and 91P Recovery Instructors to the Ordnance School’s Track, Metalworking, and Recovery Department (TMRD) at Fort Lee, Virginia

ALEXANDRIA, VA, June 30, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Task Order (TO) award notification from the from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Lee for providing MOS 91H (Track Vehicle Repairer) and 91P (Artillery Mechanic) instructors with Recovery certification to the Ordnance School’s Track, Metalworking, and Recovery Department (TMRD) at Fort Lee, Virginia beginning on 16 August 2011.

PD Systems, Inc, in concert with teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), will provide five instructors specializing in recovery operations of U.S. Army equipment at the Army’s new recovery facilities and range located at Fort Lee. Team PDS will provide instruction at different stations simultaneously in a round robin fashion, under different degrees of difficulty and in all weather conditions. Our instructors will monitor each of these stations during the hands-on Practical Exercises (PE) and the hands-on examination, and will assist, observe, and evaluate students conducting inspection of all recovery operation methods. Additionally, Team PDS will supervise students and identify safety and risk factors while students direct recovery operators, use hand and arm signals, and conduct hookup on damaged, overturned, and disabled equipment.
