Sustainment Operations

We maintain accountability and visibility of supplies, parts, and requisitioned items to promote unit readiness and minimize unit down time.

  • We execute hazardous material control operations, ensuring that personnel, the work area, and the environment always remain protected.
  • Supporting readiness, PDS manages Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) activities by providing packing and crating services, supporting long-life reusable containers (LLRCs), and managing the shelf-lives of perishable items. All actions are recorded in supported unit property books.


PDS provides comprehensive Transportation support for Personal Property Operations (PPO), Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) Operations including GSA fleet management, Unit and Materiel Movement (including rail loading and unloading), and Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) operations.

  • We specialize in transportation and shipping, including Unit and Materiel Movement (including rail loading and unloading), and Arrival/ Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) operations.
  • We are proficient in the use of Logistics IT systems such as CONUS Freight Management (CFM), Global Freight Management (GFM), Cargo Movement Operation System (CMOS), Transportation Coordinators’ Automated Information for Movement System II (TC-AIMS II), and others.
  • We manage the movement of personal property, including providing individual counseling and coordinating the shipment and tracking of household goods.

Maintenance Operations

We perform vehicle and equipment maintenance at many CONUS and OCONUS sites in support of combatant commanders.

  • PDS performs vehicle and equipment maintenance at many CONUS and OCONUS sites in support of combatant commanders. We manage a Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated facility where we maintain new systems and sustain legacy systems in accordance with AR-750-1 and DA PAM 750-8.
  • In addition to maintaining the Army’s tactical fleet, PDS also manages non-tactical, administrative, and commercial platforms. We provide full maintenance services to include conducting preventive maintenance checks and services, technical inspections, repair, and spare parts logistics, scheduled and demand repair operations, and quality control activities.

Disaster Relief Staff Augmentation

No one can predict when or where the next man-made or natural disaster will occur, but preparedness is the key to recovery.

  • In the wake of Hurricane Maria’s devastation left across Puerto Rico, PDS was called upon to provide critical staff augmentation to support FEMA’s Hurricane Maria Relief Operations.
  • In less than two weeks, PDS recruited, hired, onboarded, and deployed fully qualified and capable logistics personnel to assist in the planning and supervision of the distribution of vital supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the island.
  • PDS maintains a ready list of logistics and sustainment subject matter experts possessing disaster and contingency response experience who remain ready for the “next one.”
