PRINCE GEORGE, VA, November 18, 2016 – The Training and Logistics Services Division (TLSD) of PD Systems, Inc. continues to recognize two of its team members as “Employees of the Month.” For November 2016, the awardees were Ms. Marilyn Pernell and Mr. Paul Adamchick.  Ms. Pernell serves in the Student Management Branch of the Fort Lee Human Resources Directorate, Soldier Support Center. Mr. Adamchick serves an Instructor for the Ordnance School Tactical Support Equipment Department under the SCoE contract. This recognition is based on their superior performance, high personal standards, outstanding work ethic, and dedication to the mission.

Each employee received a signed letter from the President of the Company, a framed TLSD Certificate of Achievement, and a gift card to a local restaurant. PD Systems, Inc. Completes Design Modifications for Humanitarian Demining Light Soil Sifter

ALEXANDRIA, VA, November 9, 2016 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, announced today that it has completed the design modifications for the Humanitarian Demining Light Soil Sifter. The effort was for the Humanitarian Demining (HD) Branch, Night Visision and Electronic Sensors Directorate.

PD Systems, Inc. provided engineering design support to modify the existing HD Light Soil Sifter. Support included hydraulic and mechanical analysis and systems integration of additional components. Design was completed using CREO 3D models and included Finite Element Analysis on critical pivot points. After design review, a complete Technical Drawing Package (TDP) was developed and delivered to enable fabrication and field testing.

PD Systems’ Vice President of Power Systems, Mazen Badr, Appointed to Government Relations Committee (GR) at EGSA

ALEXANDRIA, VA, October 28, 2016 – PD Systems announced today that Mazen Badr, Vice President and General Manager of the Power Systems Division, has been appointed as the next Government Relations Chair of EGSA’s Government Relations Committee. This change was recommended by Dave Stringer (DIEF, Inc & EGSA Board) and approved by EGSA 2016 President Bob Hafich (Emergency Systems Service Co.), maintaining the Committee focus on microgrids and renewable power for both the government (such as the Dept. of Defense) and regional municipalities.  Mr. Badr will serve as the Committee Chair beginning in 2017.

PD Systems, Inc. Receives 5.9 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Supply Power Distribution Systems to the US Air Force

ALEXANDRIA, VA, September 20, 2016 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a 5.9 million dollar Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide mobile power distribution equipment in support of the United States Air Force. The systems will provide medium voltage (5kV) switching center that provides for the distribution and safe isolation of 5kV power output generators. PD Systems is known for the one-stop-shop for supporting AOR operations. PD Systems designs, integrates, validates, delivers and provides logistics support under the umbrella of the Power Systems Division. Some of the products will be delivered by PD Systems to the AOR.

PD Systems Awarded Task Order for Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC, TACOM) Retrograde Support

MADISON HEIGHTS MI, September 15, 2016 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, announced today that it received a subcontract award from WS3, LLC, a Joint Venture between Waltonen Engineering, Inc. and Special Applications Group, for TACOM ILSC Retrograde Support with a base period beginning on August 27, 2016.

PD Systems Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certified on Holmatro Fire Rescue Equipment

MADISON HEIGHTS, MI, September 15, 2016 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, announced today that David Lavery attended Holmatro training in Glen Burnie, Maryland and was certified in the use and repair of Holmatro Rescue Tools. David Lavery is a PD System Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) at Fort Riley, Kansas. This is a new capability which greatly enhances the emergency equipment repair support services for the post. The certification is good for two years ending in September 2018.

PD Systems, Inc. is a subcontractor to Marton Technologies and provides Installation Maintenance support for Fort Riley. The PD Systems, Inc. 36 maintenance personnel provide various maintenance support including heavy equipment maintenance, welding, machining, small arms repair, electronics repair, auto body repairs and auto painting for the Post.
