FORT LEE, VA, March 30, 2012 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received several Task Order (TO) notifications serving the Fort Lee, Virginia U.S. Army Ordnance School (ODS), Army Logistics University (ALU), and U.S. Army Quartermaster School (QMS).

One TO award notification is from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Instructor/Writers in support of the (ODS) for one base year and two option years beginning on 16 August 2012. PD Systems , in concert with our teammate Cubic Applications, Inc., will provide Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (MOS 91B10) Instructor/Writers under this TO in support of the U.S. Army Ordnance School’s Wheel Division of the Wheel Maintenance Training Department. This task order provides instructor and training support for the Ordnance School mission of training Army personnel to the highest standard in Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (91B10) operations and support. Our Instructor/Writers will conduct classroom/laboratory conferences, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises in accordance with course material, technical manuals, and student workbooks that are provided by the government.

PD Systems also received Sustainment Center of Excellence Three Year Task Order Award for providing Operation Specialists Support Services to the Army Logistics University (ALU), 71st Transportation Battalion at Fort Lee, Virginia for one base year and two option years beginning on 01 August 2012. PD Systems in concert with our teammate Cubic Applications, Inc. will provide augmentation personnel in support of the ALU training mission. Under this TO, PD Systems will provide Operations Specialists to provide operations and administrative support to service members attending TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction (POI) training courses in the ALU. The ALU is responsible for the Professional Military Education of Officer’s Basic and Advance course training (BOLC/OAC), Warrant Officer’s Basic and Advance course training (WOBC/WOAC), functional course training, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) training, Professional Development (PD) training and Staff and Faculty Development training.

In addition, PD Systems announced today that it received a TO award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing up to 108 instructors in support of the U.S. Army Quartermaster School (QMS) beginning on 01 June 2012. PD Systems, Cubic Applications, Inc. and Technica LLC will provide up to 108 instructors under this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for the various MOSs in the QMS to include that training conducted by the Logistics Training Department, the Aerial Delivery and Field Services Department, The Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, the Joint Mortuary Affairs Center, and the Petroleum and Water Department. These instructors will also participate as members of Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) in support of training to other military installations such as the Sling Load Inspector Certification Course (SLICC) where our MTT personnel will train Soldiers on sling load operations and how to identify safety and risk factors while directing helicopters using hand and arm signals or conducting hookup operations under hovering helicopters.

Another TO won by PD Systems is from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing up to 108 training support services personnel in support of the QMS beginning on 01 June 2012. With the teammate Cubic Applications, Inc., PD Systems will provide up to 108 training support personnel under this TO. Team PDS will provide support personnel across a wide spectrum of functional areas within the QMS. This includes Operation Specialists at Command, Brigade, Battalion, and Company levels; Small Arms Repairers in unit arms rooms; Small Arms Marksmanship Trainers; All Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS) II Trainer; Supply Specialists; Military Analysts; museum Curator of Education; Training Site and Equipment Support across the various training departments within the QMS; and Technical Writer/Editor support for the QMS.

Team PDS, including Cubic Applications, Inc., also received a SCOE TO from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing instructor and training support services to the ALU’s Department of Education and Operations for one base year and two option years beginning on 01 August 2012. The team will provide 16 personnel across instructor and training support service requirements on this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for various Staff and Faculty Training such as the Army Basic Instructor Course, the Cadre Training Course, and the Support Cadre Training Course. These instructors will also participate as members of Mobile Training Teams in support of training to other military installations. Additionally, Team PDS will provide University Plans and Operations Specialists to assist with far, near, short-term, and daily ALU planning and operations. Our Academic Records Support Specialists will provide ALU daily academic support operations. Finally, our Training Requirements and Resource Analyst will provide statistical data management, construct statistical analysis, and consolidate data derived from various U.S. Army training related data bases in support of the Deans and Directors at ALU.

PD Systems received another TO from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing MOS 91B/91H/91P ASI H8 instructor/Writers to the Ordnance School’s Recovery Division at Fort Lee, Virginia for a base year plus one optional year beginning on 16 August 2012. PD Systems in concert with our teammate Cubic Applications will provide ten instructor/writers in support of this TO with an option to increase to 25 instructor/writers. The PD Systems instructor/writers will provide platform and hands-on training of all required lessons in the Wheel and Track Vehicle Recovery Certification Course (ASIH8). Recovery training will consist of retrieving immobile, inoperative, or abandoned equipment from its current position and returning it to operation or to a maintenance recovery site for repair. These actions typically involve towing, lifting, or winching through self recovery, Like-recovery and Dedicated-recovery. PD Systems will simultaneously support resident training and Mobile Training Teams (MTT).

Finally, PD Systems, in concert with Cubic Applications, received a TO award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing Instructor/Writers in support of the ODS for one base year and two option years beginning on 16 August 2012. The team will provide Stryker Systems Maintainer (MOS 91S10) Instructors under this TO in support of the U.S. Army Ordnance School’s Stryker Division. This task order provides instructor and training support for the Ordnance School mission of training Army personnel to the highest standard in Stryker Systems Maintainer operations and support. Our Instructor/Writers will conduct classroom/laboratory conferences, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises in accordance with course material, technical manuals, and student workbooks that are provided by the government.
