PD Systems, Inc. Army Land Systems Division Recognizes Fort Riley Employees for Sustainment of the Wildland Fire Fighting Vehicles


Sterling Heights, MI, February 12, 2018 – The Army Land Systems Division (ALSD) of PD Systems, Inc. has recognized two team members for their personal attention and efforts related to the sustainment and significant improved capabilities of the Wildland fire fighting vehicles of the Ft. Riley Fire Department. This was demonstrated During early December, when extremely positive feedback was provided pertaining to the improved capabilities during operations to suppress a 3800-acre wildfire. The awardees were Mr. Michael McGarvey and Mr. Duane Miller. Michael McGarvey (right in picture #1) serves as a Technical Inspector and Mr. Duane Miller serves as an Equipment Repair Branch Supervisor (right in picture #2) as a at the Fort Riley Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) and is receiving the award from Mr. Mark Moos (PM, Fort Riley LRC, Marton Technologies, Inc.). This recognition is based on their superior performance, high personal standards, outstanding work ethic, and dedication to the mission.

The employee received a signed letter from the Vice President and General Manager and the Fort Riley Program Manager of the ALSD, a framed ALSD Certificate of Achievement, and a gift card. John Macik, PD Systems Vice President and General Manager of ALSD, congratulated the employee, saying, “ALSD is proud that you are a member of our team.
