ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 27, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Task Order (TO) award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Lee for providing MOS 91F (Small Arms Towed Artillery Repairer) instructors to the Ordnance School’s Conventional Weapons Division at Fort Lee, Virginia beginning on 16 August 2011.
PD Systems in concert with our teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) will provide 21 instructors in support of this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as well as professional development training for Officer and Noncommissioned Officer students. The 91F Instructors will train Soldiers on two-level maintenance of small arms weapons to include shoulder fired weapons, handguns, machine guns, mortars, and towed artillery weapons. Additionally, instruction will include procedures to inspect, disassemble, clean, operate, function-test, lubricate, measure and repair small arms/artillery equipment.
