FORT LEE, VA, July 31, 2014 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, announced today that it received an award from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Lee for providing instructor support to the U.S. Army Ordnance School’s Recovery Division beginning on August 16, 2014.
PD Systems, Inc. will provide MOS 91B/91H/91P ASI H8 instructors for a base year plus one optional year beginning on 16 August 2014. The PD Systems instructor will provide platform and hands-on training of all required lessons in the Wheel and Track Vehicle Recovery Certification Course (ASIH8). Recovery training will consist of retrieving immobile, inoperative, or abandoned equipment from its current position and returning it to operation or to a maintenance recovery site for repair. These actions typically involve towing, lifting, or winching through self-recovery, Like-recovery and Dedicated-recovery.
