FORT LEE, VA, March 18, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, exhibited today at the Civilian Jobs.com Career Expo. PD Systems’ attendance at this event provided a recruiting opportunity focused on filling Instructor and Training Support Service positions at the U.S. Army’s Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) at Fort Lee, Virginia, for which PD Systems received a prime contract award in February of 2011. “This event provides us a great opportunity to get in front of a large number of candidates from the military community,” said Kevin Stump, PD Systems’ V.P. of Training and Logistics Services, who staffed the event. “We are extremely excited about our award as a SB Prime and the opportunity to support the growth and development of our Nation’s logistics Soldiers as they undergo technical and tactical training at the SCoE.”
PD Systems in concert with its teammates will provide performance-oriented training and training support services to the Ordnance, Quartermaster, and Transportation Schools at Fort Lee, Virginia. This training will span all ranks from newly enlisted soldiers attending Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for nearly 40 Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs) to senior NCOs, Warrant Officers and Officers attending various leader training courses at the Army Logistics University. Additionally, contract efforts entail providing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and update Programs of Instructions (POIs), Lesson Plans, and Training Support Packages (TSPs). Training support will also include assistance with the implementation and integration of distributed learning curriculum in both synchronous and asynchronous instructional environments across the institutional, unit, and self-development training domains.
