ALEXANDRIA, VA, March 30, 2012 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it is a member of the Fibertek, Inc. team that received an award for the Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor (WEBS) Services contract. Fibertek, Inc. is one of the six primes awarded a contract by the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), and Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD).
WEBS is a five year IDIQ contract totaling $1.78B if all options are exercised.
The awardees will provide engineering support and technology assistance, including sensor technology engineering, administrative and operations support, field technology assistance, test and evaluation, and engineering support and services for night vision and electronic sensors systems.
