ALEXANDRIA, VA, February 20, 2014 – PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, announced today that support for a comprehensive visual, thermal and I2 evaluation of candidate nets, part of the development of a two-sided Ultra Lightweight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS), has been completed.

For the effort, PDS collected visual data and night vision data from the candidate nets at DoD test facilities representing tactically relevant woodland and desert backgrounds, supported the thermal data collection at these sites, conducted photo-simulation evaluation and analysis, and contributed to the final test report.

PDS has been the support contractor for two-sided camouflage testing for the Communications Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (CERDEC NVESD), the US Army Product Manager- Force Sustainment System (PM-FSS) / Product Manager Shelter Systems for Multispectral Camouflage/ULCANS, and the US Marine Corps since the inception of the program, having supported the Foreign Comparative Test and the ULCANS 2 Test, as well as numerous ULCANS improvement and enhancement testing.

Bill Molino, whose Grandfather, Angelo Molino, served in the Army during WWII and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery alongside his wife, Jennie, added, “For years I have appreciated the care with which others have seen to it that my grandfather and other veterans are not forgotten. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for the various MOSs in the QMS to include that training conducted by the Logistics Training Department, the Aerial Delivery and Field Services Department, The Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, the Joint Mortuary Affairs Center, and the Petroleum and Water Department. Recovery training will consist of retrieving immobile, inoperative, or abandoned equipment from its current position and returning it to operation or to a maintenance recovery site for repair. These actions typically involve towing, lifting, or winching through self recovery, Like-recovery and Dedicated-recovery. PD Systems will simultaneously support resident training and Mobile Training Teams (MTT).

Finally, PD Systems, in concert with Cubic Applications, received a TO award notification from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command ‘s Fort Lee for providing Instructor/Writers in support of the ODS for one base year and two option years beginning on 16 August 2012. PD Systems in concert with our teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) will provide 21 instructors in support of this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as well as professional development training for Officer and Noncommissioned Officer students. The 91F Instructors will train Soldiers on two-level maintenance of small arms weapons to include shoulder fired weapons, handguns, machine guns, mortars, and towed artillery weapons. PD Systems, Inc, in concert with teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), will provide five instructors specializing in recovery operations of U.S. Army equipment at the Army’s new recovery facilities and range located at Fort Lee. Team PDS will provide instruction at different stations simultaneously in a round robin fashion, under different degrees of difficulty and in all weather conditions. Our instructors will monitor each of these stations during the hands-on Practical Exercises (PE) and the hands-on examination, and will assist, observe, and evaluate students conducting inspection of all recovery operation methods. Additionally, Team PDS will supervise students and identify safety and risk factors while students direct recovery operators, use hand and arm signals, and conduct hookup on damaged, overturned, and disabled equipment.

Approximately 20,000 Soldiers and Leaders per year will conduct FTX training missions replicating operational theatre missions that integrate their newly acquired technical skills with their tactical skills.

PD Systems in concert with our teammate General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) will provide nine instructors in support of this TO. Team PDS will provide instructors to perform platform and hands-on instruction for Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Instructors will provide service augmentation to TSED so it can provide performance-oriented training as directed, using the TRADOC approved Program Of Instructions (POIs). The 91J Instructors will train Soldiers on two-level maintenance of a variety of equipment to include water production equipment, petroleum supply equipment, chemical equipment, decontamination equipment, and heater and steam cleaner maintenance.

05/24/2011 - PD Systems Receives Contract Award from the Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Test Center to Provide Load Bank Labor and Material Support

ALEXANDRIA, VA, May 24, 2011 – PD Systems , a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today they have been awarded a contract to provide load bank labor and material support to complete the Air Force generator test program conducted by Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Test Center. PD Systems will provide load banks to support the required reliability testing, which will be performed over 3000-hours reliability test on eight Base Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) Power Units (BPUs).

The testing is scheduled to begin late-May 2011 and end in December 2011, with possibility of three (3) one-month extensions.
