CHAMBERSBURG, PA, October 10, 2012 – PD Systems , a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, was awarded a contract to provide industrial, maintenance, logistical, and technical labor support augmenting the Letterkenny Army Depot’s civilian and military workforce. The augmentation is in support of the Recapitalization and Reset operations on military armored vehicles and military power generators.
This effort will enhance Letterkenny Army Depot’s production capabilities for various functional divisions under the Directorate of Maintenance: Production Engineering, Major Items, Industrial Business, Electronic Support, Vehicle Fabrication, Mechanical Equipment, Paint and Mine Resistant Ambush Platforms. PD Systems will provide labor, management, logistical, and technical support services.
Specific platforms include: HIMARS, Patriot, HMMWV, MRAP, Generators, Soldier Support, Route Clearance Vehicle, Aviation Ground Power Unit (GPU), Biological Integrated Detection Systems (BIDS), Generators Reset, TOW Ground Component Repair, Bradley Component Repair, M997 Ambulance Overhaul.
