PD Systems, Inc., a privately held Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, is providing insurgent role players at the NTC at Fort Irwin, CA as part of a TSS-E task order awarded in August 2018.
As an integral piece of NTC Rotation 19-02.5, Team PDS executed role player missions in support of the Army Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise (EDRE) Program. The key engagements during 19-02.5 revolved around scenarios where Paratroopers conducted a rapid landing quickly followed by Cordon and Search operations throughout one of the mock villages in the training area. The role players replicated large scale civil unrest, multiple night-time protests, raids and seize operations. Mr. Wayne Hall, PD Systems Program Manager, was on the ground to conduct site safety/sustainment checks and hold a pre-box deployment meeting with all role players ensuring personnel were properly equipped for 24hr operations in ever changing weather conditions. He also held a Q&A session to provide guidance as to what to expect for this type of rotation based on his personal lessons learned from his time as an Army CSM.
This was another well-executed role player mission performed by Team PDS at NTC.
